107. Novice. Jun 14, 2004 #5. You need the impeller removal tool and a very good quality vise to hold the impeller shaft. Its next to impossible to remove the impeller without a good vise. 1. remove trim and steering cables from nozzle (10mm bolts) 2. remove 4 nuts holding pump to ski (14mm) 3. pull pump off the ski, it may be stuck so be patient.
